it's honestly really cool to see someone my age create a website like that on their own! you honestly inspired me to tidy up my blog and work more on the aesthetics of it! here is a quick question tho: for a blog, is creating a new html file for each post too space consuming? should i make a single html page for all the blog entries (like yours for example, where you said you just add a new section to it)?

I honestly have no idea lol i like having all my posts in one html file because theres less files and its easy to add new posts but a lot of people use varying amounts of iframes for their blogs. I have no clue which is better for space/performance so i think it just comes down to personal prefrence and how you like to organize stuff. this probably wasnt that helpful but i wish you luck on your blog and hope you have fun working on your site!!

Hey! Your site was the first one that really inspired me to make my own! I especially love your PSP player! Super creative! I found your tutorial and made a similar element on my own website (that's how much you inspired me!
) Keep it up! You have amazing taste and are an excellent coder!

your page is so cool! for your updates section and your blog, do you manually put in the entries in the html or something else? i can tell there was a lot of thought put into your website

I was wondering if you could reach out to me on Discord on how to get a site to be in the same format as yours (like where the sections are and stuff)? I saw in a previous comment that you're not comfortable sharing your entire layout but I wanted to make a more retro looking site with a layout inspired by your site's layout

sorry but thats one of the things im not exactly comfortable on making a full tutorial for.. 😭 i will say that the main page thing for my site is a <main> tag with 3 divs in it (header, middle part, footer) and in the middle part theres 3 divs (left, middle, right) hopefully thats enough to understand the basics of how its formated but like i said thats one of the things I'd prefer if you figured out on your own,, i hope this doesn't sound rude but my layout is something i worked very hard on and its very personal to me .. im happy you want to take inspiration from it tho! if you have any questions about smaller, more specific parts of the page then i should be able to answer those

Could you explain how you made the yt video turn blue when the pointer isn't hovering over it?
I tried to put an effect layer over it and make it disappear with "hover" but it isn't really working :/
(I'm too stupid to examine and understand your code i'm sorry TwT)

sure thing!! sorry i haven't finished the full psp tutorial yet
#pspstuff is the id for the div containing the videos, and in the css below im selecting the video iframes in that div
#pspstuff iframe {
filter:sepia(95%) hue-rotate(180deg) grayscale(0%);
}
#pspstuff:hover iframe {
filter:none;
}
